We are a soccer-specific marketing and creative agency built to help teams, brands, leagues, federations, and media properties connect to American soccer fans and American soccer culture. 

If you love soccer like we do, you know about the trajectory of the sport in the U.S. - over the last 10 years, MLS, NWSL, and USL have all seen massive growth in attendance, TV viewership, partnership revenue, media coverage, and more. 

And that’s to say nothing of international club friendlies, national team tours, and competitions like Concacaf Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, The Soccer Tournament (TST), and the U.S. Open Cup which are all contributing to the growing interest across the country. 

The truth is, we’re still in the early stages of what’s possible for soccer in America. And the next few years will accelerate the sport in a way we’ve never seen before. In addition to everything already mentioned, here’s just some of what’s coming: 

• 2025: FIFA Club World Cup + Gold Cup

• 2026: FIFA Men's World Cup

• 2028: Summer Olympics in LA

As one of the only soccer-specific marketing and creative agencies in the U.S. we are having a blast helping to help grow the game in our backyard. Our team is a group of soccer-playing, soccer-watching, soccer-debating humans who can’t get enough of the world’s game. 

And we’re hiring. 

We are seeking enthusiastic, soccer-obsessed candidates for a 9-12 month contract to assist across all of our clients and projects. While we only launched two years ago, we’ve been fortunate to work with some amazing soccer clubs and brands in our early days.

We’ve got a big ol’ list of job responsibilities below, but the reality is we’re still relatively small with five (5) full-time employees and a couple dozen freelancers that we frequently tap. That means that you’ll learn a little bit of everything about a little bit of everything. 

We think that’s a good thing, but it’s not for everyone. 

This role is for creative problem solvers who jump into assignments with enthusiasm and energy. We expect our teammates to be adaptable, flexible, and collaborative. 

Here’s what you need to know about the role:

• 9-12 month contract (with potential for an extension if you crush it) 

• Hired as an independent contractor

• Full-time, 40+ hours per week 

• Fully remote - work from anywhere! 

• Work travel may be required

• Monthly stipend: $4,000-$4,500

At this early stage of the company we aren’t yet providing health insurance or other benefits, but those are on our roadmap for the future. If that doesn’t work for your current situation, we completely understand - keep an eye on our social channels for freelance opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Report to the Director of Marketing & Client Services, working across all clients and agency projects

• Serve as the account lead and direct point of contact for multiple clients

• Lead various weekly client meetings - agenda organization, timeline updates, note taking, identification of action items, etc.

• Support the scheduling of all project-related meetings - brainstorm sessions, alignment meetings, status meetings, etc.

• Support marketing ideation, planning, and project management for all clients

• Closely monitor and manage all project deliverables, timelines, assignments, and more, including keeping internal project management tool (Asana) updated on a daily basis 

• Support all marketing-related brainstorm sessions, contributing ideas for concepts, activations, programs, campaigns, copy, etc.

• Support management of any and all systems in use to ensure consistency and clarity (i.e. Google docs, Asana, Canva, Slack, etc.)

• Provide administrative support (meeting schedules, invoices, email tracking, etc.) 

• Support management of the agency’s contractors and freelancers

• Support coordination of any and all video/content review processes at every stage from first draft to final approval

• Support development + management of all work back schedules - timeline management, gates & dates, etc.

• Support scheduling any and all external project resources - interview subjects, location coordination, rental equipment (lights, cameras, etc.), craft services

• Coordination + communication lead for all video and design freelancers - shooters, editors, post-production, sound editors, graphic designers, etc.

• Support development of new client pitch materials including research, positioning, deck building, proofreading, etc.

• Define and document project scope, objectives and desired outcome

• Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally

• Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement

• Be aware of industry best practices, techniques and standards, and encourage team members to use them for effective project execution

• Work independently as well as cooperatively with the internal team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects (yes, we’re busy!) 

• Other duties as assigned, because when you work in sports you’ve got to be adaptable and ready to move quickly 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Understanding and appreciation for the best sport in the whole world ⚽️

• 2+ years of soccer-specific professional experience

• 2+ years of client services and/or account management experience

• Excellent communication skills, including ability to write clearly and concisely

• Demonstrated understanding/experience of managing clients

• Demonstrated experience in project management, workback schedules, etc. 

• Organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Preference for experience with project management software Asana 

• Knowledge of pro soccer teams both domestically (MLS, NWSL, USL, etc.) and globally (emphasis on European leagues + Central and South American leagues) 

• Knowledge of pro soccer tournaments and competitions in the Concacaf region (U.S. Open Cup, MLS/NWSL/USL playoffs, Liga MX playoffs, Concacaf Champions Cup, Canadian Championship, etc.) as well as globally (UEFA Champions League,  FA Cup, Europa League, Copa Sudamericana, Copa Libertadores, etc.) 

• Knowledge of soccer/football federations globally, including key competitions and tournaments (World Cup, Copa America, Gold Cup, Confederations Cup, Euros, Nations League, etc.) 

• Strong attention to detial 

• Comfort with working on multiple projects at one time and on tight deadlines 

• Ability to organize files and assets with clear and identifiable system for colleagues
